My active interest in photography started in the 1970's. Since I have received many compliments from friends and family about my work, I thought it would be interesting to seek opinions of more professional critics.
During the summer of 2007, I entered a total of 20 images in four regional and one statewide competitions. They earned 15 awards. The judges included a 20 year employee of a national news magazine, a photographer from a national newspaper, a teacher of photography at the college level, and others unknown to me. I am much encouraged by this successful showing.
I hope you enjoy this initial presentation of images made primarily on the Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains' eastern slopes.
